Valentine...

Hellow little diary,
Phew! It's been so long time since my last diary. Yes, I've been busy recently, night and day, day and night. Today is a black Friday; Friday the 13th!! When I heard from my friend that today is Friday the 13th, do you know what I first remembered? I suddenly remembered my diary! I started writing diary on the black Friday too! Not in February, but it was on Friday the 13th. That's why after showering, I opened my laptop, and I'm writing diary now.

Tomorrow is Valentine's day! Yea, everybody knows that. Everybody must be so happy and excited preparing for tomorrow. It's a love day, a day when people show love to their beloved someones. I said 'someones', not 'someone'. It means that Valentine's day is not only for couples or lovers. It's such a sweet day for everyone! *What do you want to say?*

This morning I asked my hubby:
Me: Do you want us to do exchange gift tomorrow?
Ron: No need
Me: Ok.
The conversation was ended just like that.

After office I went to shops to search for the best Valentine's gift for my hubby. In the middle of gift hunting, my hubby called me and asked me to go home quickly. I can sense that he already knew something. Then, finally I found something! I carried that thing inside a paper bag that can't be seen from outside. After I reached home, my hubby was there looking at my paper bag but he didn't say a word. I was relieved! When I was about to put that paper bag on my hidden place quietly, he suddenly appeared in front of me with a loud voice saying 'Aku ngga liat apa2 lho.. aku pura2 ngga tau apa2 lho..' (meaning: I didn't see anything, I pretend that I don't know anything)

You know what? I was quite disappointed. On his bday, I failed to surprise him because he already knew that and he even told me that he knew! This time is not that bad but why can't he just pretend that he doesn't know without saying that 'Aku pura2 ngga tau apa2 lho'?? It's so hard to give surprise after you get married. Now I understand why husband-wife don't give presents to each other. I thought it's because they already know each other very well till they don't need a present to represent their feeling. I think another reason is also because they are tired of getting spotted when they are preparing the surprise. It's ok, Valentine is all about love, not about the gift, right?
