'I Luv U'

Friday, 14 Sep 07, 7.50am at home

Morning diary,
Early in the morning I woke up when my hubby's alarm clock rang, prepared breakfast for him, and here I ended up typing in front of computer while eating a banana. My breakfast preparation is now better than last week, well I don't know what he thinks, at least I feel better because I managed to prepare it the day before.. things that we prepare carefully should turn out well, rite? And good news is, this week I'm not as clumsy as last week, except for leaving my transparant umbrella on the train yesterday. I now always make sure that I think wisely before doing anything, I see around caefully before moving my body just to make sure that I won't drop anything around me.. It worked! I should start doing this long long time ago to minimise loss that have happened since I was born, such as, I dropped one stack of plates on a wedding dinner, I messed my grandpa's birthday cake with my back on his birthday party (nobody knows except my sis and you, now), I injured my classmate's eye with a stick accidentally *siapa suruh melotot di samping stick pas aku lompat tinggi* and so on so on.

I went to optics yesterday, 2 optics, to fix my glasses. But nobody could fix it :( The bengkok is away too far, one of the ornaments is missing. Well, at least that's what I understood from their finger that kept pointing at the connection point of my cangkolan while saying "hakuna matata hakuna matata". I need to buy new one now.. or I can still use this glasses if I don't mind wearing it with karetan cangkolan ke telinga. I guess, I must buy. Should I be sad or happy? Sad, because another expense can't be avoided. I should put this expense (as well as my beautiful belt that I bought yesterday) under my 'Unexpected and Emergency Expenses'. Happy, because I read one article 'Japan is the heaven for those with high-index myopia'. Great!! The index on my both eyes are around 9.00-10.00. Is it considered high or low? It's lower if compared to 11, it's higher if compared to 8. Math is easy, rite? Anyway, the lenses here are the thinnest among all other countries including US. This is really heaven!!! See, I knew it when God sent me to Japan, it must be because of this thinnest lens?? Whatever.. I'm buying it this weekend!

Yesterday I went to my pastor's home. It's very interesting to see how their family live. One thing that I like most is the way they talk to each other in the family. They always speak softly, say good things only, respect each other including small kids, and express how they love each other openly by actions and WORDS whenever they have chance! It's very amazing to see how powerful words are when they are used to express love. We, as Asian, sometimes forget to say 'I love you'. Ok ok, we say 'I love you' to our bf/gf everyday or sometimes 3x a day, but we are shy to say that to our other loved ones like parents, grandparents, kids, etc. Why? We're just not used to do it. Yesterday I heard my pastor said 'I love you' when he was about to end conversation with his son on the phone and when his wife was about to drive me to station. I was so surprised and merinding nyaman (although I knew that these words were not meant to me). What do we usually say at the end of conversation on the phone with the ones we love? Bye-bye? Yuk ahh? Yuk dungg? Yuk Jreng?

Some people say that if those words are said too many times, these will lose the real meaning. If these are seldom said, these will sound "GreNgg-GrEnGgg" to the opposite's ears and heart. It's similar to people who eat too many antibiotics, their body will be immune to antibiotics, the body will only react with higher dosage of antibiotics. I partly agree. Too many is not good, but too little is also not good. In conclusion, we know what is the right 'dosage' for each of our relationships. *Apaan seh ini, kayak ngarang 'pro n kontra' di communication skill subject, conclusionnya gak penting pula!*

On my way home, I found something interesting. Kebanyakan cewek Jepun jalan dengan letter O kakinya! Ujung kaki depannya nutup. Apakah karna di sini seringnya dingin jadi mereka kebiasaan jalannya mingkup2 nahan angin? Sekarang lagi summer-autumn pun masih mingkup2 gitu? Atau memang style jalan gitu baru ngetrend di sini? Maybe soon I will walk like that, and don't laugh! I'm just following the trend, like a turtle that grows as big as its bucket where it lives, and like a giraffe's neck that grows long because it always eats plants way above it. The turtle's story is true, I experimented it myself. About the giraffe, I don't know the truth, I never piara a giraffe baby before. The point is, we should adapt to our environment, true?

Today I'm going to travel agent's office to make payment for my tomorrow's trip to Mt Fuji and do a weekly groceries shopping at Jusco.

Bye2 diary, I love you, yukk dunggg..!! (komplit plitt, mantepp tepp, pake cinta, pake telor)

Thursday Outing

Thursday, 13 Sep 07, 9.56am at home

Hi, my little diary..
Today's temperature is 21-28 Celcius, getting cold and cold.. I opened all my windows this morning, enjoyed my breakfast alone while watching last episode of my Korean series.. sometimes, I really enjoy my life when I'm alone and doing what I want that nobody would care. One thing that I like most about living in a far far away island is having this 100% freedom! Mau makan gak makan, mau makan sekali atau lima kali, mau mandi gak mandi, gak ada yg urusin.. Merdeka!

Today I wanna fix my glasses, one of the 'cangkolan' is very loose now. Luckily I have big ears so the cangkolan is still hanging on my ear. But, it's now hanging almost at the ujung of my ear leave. I've been delaying my trip to optics since last week because of the sore on my feet and because I still dunno how to explain 'the cangkolan is loose' in Japanese. I thought I would go after my first Jap class, which is still 2 weeks from now. Well, I guess I won't learn how to say 'cangkolan is loose' on my first day. There's no point of waiting, my glasses keep moving whenever I move my head, pusing banget ngliatnya! Today I must go! If my glasses can't be fixed, probably I would buy a new one. I've repaired this glasses many times, perhaps it's now time to change glasses. My glasses is already 3 years old, God wants me to keep up-to-date to the latest fashion, perhaps. Good! I also need to go to my Pastor's home today, we've made appointment last Sunday, I'll bring some cookies that I brought from Indo. Yea, better give it to my pastor rather than eating all myself. Don't be maruk, being endut is equal to being maruk!

This weekend, we're planning to go to Mt Fuji and Hakone Lake. I'm now enquiring about the tour package. I went to Mt Fuji with my family last Dec but we didn't have chance to ride a ropeway and cruise due to bad weather on winter season. I hope that rain won't fall this Saturday so we can enjoy the nice scenery from the ropeway and boat! Another updates, My hubby will fly to S'pore next week for 3 days. Have I told you this? He needs to receive his S'pore PR personally. There's no other choice, he must go, otherwise he would lose it. What about me? Of course, I'll still stay here..

See you diary, need to siap2 mau pergi sekarang.. today is Thursday Outing!!

Tokyo City Tour

Tuesday,11 Sep 07, 12.36pm at home

Hi again diary,
Remember I told you that we went somewhere last weekend? We didn't go to a place outside Tokyo because the weather was not really supporting. So finally we went to popular places in Tokyo that we've never visited before.

Here is the tour schedule on Saturday, 8 Sep 07:
7.00 - Woke up
8.00 - Went to Tsukiji Fish Market, enjoyed the sashimi. It was a great chance to eat raw and fresh fish. We even saw how the fish was killed with no proper killing method. The fish meat was peeled off (dengan ikan masih kelepak2) and a stick was just stabbed at its meatless body and put on our plate for decoration (dengan mulut ikan masih kembang-kempis). Omo omo omo.. I could feel the fish meat berdenyut2 on my tounge.
10.00 - Back Home
12.00 - Had lunch at home
14.00 - Took a nap (Hahahaha)
18.00 - Went to Ginza. It's a place where all the elite shopping malls are put together. The street was very bright eventhough it's at nite. It's very different with Boyolali! I never imagined Hermes has its own 8-storey showroom building, each floor has different collections! So do Gucci and Dior and all other brands!
20.00 - Had dinner at Ginza
21.00 - Went to Ropponggi Hills. It's a place where foreigners (mostly westerners) gather. There are cafes, restaurants, clubs, sky aquarium, art museum, tokyo city view, and other nite attractions!
22.00 - Departed from Ropponggi karna kaki udah lecet2 akibat sepatu baru
22.30 - Reached home

Here I uploaded some pics,
At Ginza

At Ropponggi Hills - can you see the Tokyo Tower from here?

Clumsy Me

Tuesday, 11 Sep 07, 10.10am at home

Hellow my diary,
Today is September eleventh, at 10.10am. What a special day!

I've been not in the mood of writing diary recently. I'm busy doing something now, NO, doing many things. You know, the things what a housewife should do. I used to live alone without maid for so many years in Aust n Spore but this time is lil bit different. Dunno why I always keep busy cleaning here and there, busy returning stuff to the place where it should be, busy tidying up cupboard many times although it's already neat and nice. I know that it's my first home after my marriage but it's not our real home anyway.. My parents used to own a beautiful house in Aust, I was the one who stay in that house, I was the one who hold the responsibility to its security and cleanliness. By right, I should be more paranoid than now because it was my parents' own house. But I was not! I could managed my time, schooling while cleaning house. Now, I'm a full time housewife but I'm so busy. I always want to make sure that the stove and oven are 'kinclong', the floor is 'clink2', and tables are always spotless. Apakah aku mengidap gejala2 penyakit tertentu? I think it's because now I bought every stuff with our own money (not parents' money, it's different!), so I can really feel sad if I spoil them. I feel responsible to all the things that belong to me. But, too bad, why I'm always unlucky? *Feeling responsible only is not enough, my dear*

One day, I made my egg exploded in my microwave, I burnt my pan, I made my saucespoon on fire, and of course many times I burnt my food too, I scratched my new table with a knife, accidentally of course, and so on so on. *What's the use of cleaning everyday? Damaging is worse than not-cleaning* Yes, I'm a clumsy girl but I never expect me to go too far till that extent. Now I have a sore on my feet; lebam, ungu, perih, dan bernanah. Don't be surprised, it's all because of my new high-heel shoes. I just bought a new black shoes bergesper, finally I bought a pair of doll shoes! But, to be beautiful is a painful process! It's so painful till I can't walk straight nor even wearing sandals now. Poor me, clumsy me, get well soon..

Anyway, recently I've been asking myself:
- What do I want to be?
- What do I want to do?
- What is the primary goal of my life?
You know what, I can't really answer these questions. I'm wondering if everyone is also the same. Some friends of mine keep asking me 'what are you doing there? cleaning house, then what?' It's a simple question but I can't answer it immediately. Yea, what am I doing here? Using the time? or spending the time? or wasting the time? or killing the time? Why should English have so many words with 'slightly' different meaning, just to describe one thing?

Started few days ago, my hubby has been motivating me to do something useful. I have no confident that I can do it but he has! I'm willing to try. Better trying than not trying, as long as it won't danger me, rite? Let's see.. Thanks honey, at least I know one person is siding me. Anyway, he passed his 2nd test! :D Yea, I knew he could do it.. It's a good thing that he's my husband. Bukankah Tuhan mempersatukan dua insan yang berbeda untuk saling melengkapi? I'm clumsy, he's attentive.. I'm careless, he's careful.. I'm easy-to-give-up, he's persistent.. I'm not-too-smart-type, he's brainy.. I'm indecisive, he's strong minded.. well, kenapa aku dapetnya yg jelek2? Sometimes I'm wondering why he married a useless clumsy girl like me if he's already such a perfect guy, he answered "Because you're super-ndolo (meaning: super-stupid-clumsy), you're special". Maybe he thinks I'm like a cagar-alam yg hampir punah yg patut dipelihara that he never found in his Mars planet? Well, every creature is unique, whether it's in a good or bad way! There must be someone who appreciates you, rite??

What am I writing now? Ngelantur sana sini, yes it's me, remember, clumsy girl never focuses on one thing!
Bye diary..

First Breakfast

Thursday, 6 Sep 07, 9.28am at home

Morning diary,
Today is such a cold and cloudy day. I opened my windows and let the wind comes into my home, it's so fresh.. I turned my laptop on, played a slow music, and writing my diary..

This morning, I made breakfast for my hubby for the first time. I bought one loaf of bread, one dozen of eggs, and salads yesterday. I planned to make a simple sandwich with fried egg in it. As soon as I opened my eyes, I remember that I forgot to buy frying oil and bacons. My primary school teacher once told me that human's brain in the morning is the sharpest, I guess this is right. I suddenly remember everything in the morning as soon as I wake up. Omo omo what should I do with the bread and raw egg? I have no salt nor pepper. I have no butter nor cheese. What an amburadul breakfast, prepared by an amburadul wife. :(

I was so nervous, but still I switched my stove on. I had to keep busy and pretended everything was okay. I didn't have oil, but I had water. I boiled the eggs! This was the only thing I could do. I wanted to cut the boiled egg into pieces and insert the pieces in the sandwich together with the potato salad. In this kind of emergency case, I need McGyver's brain. I was not sure how many minutes I should boil the eggs, I remember petuah from my mum 'let the eggs floating, that means the eggs are well-boiled'. What to do, the panci was even too small for my two giant eggs (Talking about the giant egg, now I doubt that it's a chicken egg). Then I just waited for around 5-10 minutes. My hubby had finished showering, forget about the floating eggs.. Here is the menu of this morning breakfast:
- Two slices of toasted bread with potato salad
- One half-done egg (Eating tips: ditelen aja idup2)
- One piece of banana
- A glass of ice water

Not bad, rite? *yea yea, if you ever seen the meal, sure you would comment something* I should do one big groceries shopping today! I'll bring my trolley, 3B (Big Back Bag), and sport shoes..
Bye diary..

What's Marriage Life?

Wednesday, 5 Sep 07, 9.48am at home

Morning, my little diary,
Tokyo now is getting cooler, winter is coming soon. I also need to look cooler. I have to start buying a winter coat dengan lengan lebar, kancing 6 (barisan kancing: 2x3 menurun), belakang ada belahannya like Sherlock Holmes' jacket, ada sabuknya, dan ada bulunya! Cool jacket. For cool wheather. For cool lady. Cool me?

Ron is having the second test of Japan law soon, in about 40 mins time from now. He just left home. This is the final test, please God, bless him.. He also just got his Singapore PR issued so he'll need to fly to Singapore this month. Omo omo, we need to be separated again.. in our newly weds life..

It's ok, life always has good and bad. The good news is: we'll go somewhere in Japan this weekend and next next weekened (because next weekend he's going to S'pore). This weekend will be our first holiday, a holiday without bringing books, a holiday without carrying laptop, a holiday without thinking anything else. People call it a honeymoon?? Since we arrived Japan, my hubby has been concentrating on the test, we didn't really have chance to explore Japan. Finally, starting from today he'll be free! Where should we go this weekend? Venice or Swiss?? I mean, Mt Fuji or Disney Resort? I should just do online research on the top destinations, maybe the idea of staying overnite is also not bad. Hmm, let's see..

Yesterday I had lots of things to do. Went there, bought things, settled that, cleaned this and that. Who says that a housewife never has deadline? She does have projects deadline. Clothes to be washed and ironed are as big as 2 bukits, we'll have no clothes to wear the day after if we don't finish it by that day. We'll have no rice to eat today if I didn't buy rice cooker yesterday. We'll have no food to eat tonite if I don't buy groceries today. See, is it as important as rushing a proposal to win a tender? Of course, it's even more important than winning a tender. Without clothes, how to win a tender? Without food, how to have energy to do the proposal? *Easy la, just buy clothes and food outside* Well..all..I..can..say..is.. housewife (or maid).. makes..your..life.. easier..,that's..all. uhuk!

Now I started feeling the pressure. My hubby never gives me pressure but somehow I feel some pressures. Now I have rice cooker, fridge, stove, and even a toaster at home. What should I do? Clean the cooking utensil, smile at it, and keep it safely in the kitchen cupboard? No! I have to cook!! How to cook? What to cook? Is there any daily menu? Should I create a menu then? I started to ask my hubby what he wants to eat in the morning, what he likes to eat for dinner, what he usually drinks for breakfast. I'm trying to find out everything about him. This is marriage life. It's all about learning what your partner likes and dislikes. It should be easier after 3 months..no, 6 months.

Back in high-school days, I saw a guy only by appearance, how well he can play sport, and how sweet he talks to me. *the sweeter the winner?* I liked a handsome, energetic, and sweet talker guy. When I was in University, I had another requirements for choosing a guy. I wanted a guy from good family background, same religious, and smart so that he can protect me *because you're clumsy?*. When I prayed to God, I told Him my 4 requirements: he must be taller than me, smarter than me, older than me, and he must never dated girls before! When I started working, I had other requirements for a guy. I wanted a guy who is independent, able to earn decent money, having decent job, and more importantly is he must truly love me. How did I measure 'a true love'? I didn't see it from how frequent he called me nor how often he said 'I lop u' nor how patient he's willing to spend time to take me anywhere I go nor how jealous he was if I hang out with my guy friends. True love is not about all of these crippy-crappy things only. I learned something, love was also about responsibility. Now I'm married. I just learned something new, love was also about understanding and 'kekompakan'. Dunno why I feel so happy if I happen to have same thought as what my hubby thinks. I feel like "Yess, this is what marriage should be". Of course all other requirements that I had when I was younger are still valid. God really heard my prayer, he fullfiled all the 4 requirements that I requested (including the 4th one that sounds so stupid: 'Cowo yg harus belum pernah pacaran')! Yea yea I know my requirements were too simple. I should ask more.. My pastor once said, when you want something, please state specifically and in details on what you want. Don't just give up by saying "May your will comes true". He's our father, He hears all our prayers!

I heard one story from my pastor, one husband and wife got divorced when they were around 60 years old. You know why? Because the husband was busy working and rarely spending time with his wife when he was young. Their marriage life was okay. However, soon after he was retired, he stayed at home everyday with his wife, then they found out that they were not fit to each other and they got divorced. It's funny but real story. As I said, marriage is also about 'kekompakan'. *aigoo..aigoo..sok bijaksana aje*

Back to Japan!

Monday, 3 Sep 07, 10.44am at home

Hello again my dear diary,
Now I'm at home. *Which home?* Now I'm in Japan again, in my new home at Shinkawa. I was just back from my long and tiring journey, Solo-Jakarta-Hongkong-Taiwan-Narita-Tokyo. So many stops.. My mum asked me "Mampir Amerika juga gak?" I replied "Iya Mam, ini baru mau jalan ngliat patung Liberty". *emangnye city tour??* Anyway, yesterday I woke up at 3.30am, departed from Jakarta at 6.35am and reached home (at Tokyo) around 11.30pm. Reached home, I unpacked my things, set up my curtains that I brought from Indo, took shower, had little chat with my hubby, and turned in around 1.30am. Phew! It's like what Jack Bauer in 24 said "It was the longest day in my life!"

Something happened yesterday. At Narita Airport, I put all my 30kg luggages on a big trolley, u know, airport trolley is very big. Aku udah tau gimana caranya naek tangga berjalan sambil dorong trolley gede berisi barang, tapi kalo turun?? Kemarin itu, dari Narita airport ke Tokyo, aku mesti naek kereta. Stasiun keretanya ada di lantai bawah. Jadi aku mesti turun pake elevator sambil berheboh-hebohan bawa koper2ku. I saw my sis pushed her baby stroller dengan arah terbalik when she was going down. I thought it should be that way. Easy! Then, I tried! Well, actually I didn't want to take that risk but my train was coming in 5 minutes, I didn't have time to look for a lift to go down. Saking tegangnya, tanganku melepaskan pegangan trolley! Terpaksa aku lari2 naik melawan arus tangga berjalan yg berjalan turun. Setelah pegangan trolley berhasil kepegang, aku asal tarik aja.. and rupanya roda trolley yg super gede itu gak pas letaknya. Trolley raksasa berisi koper2ku mulai menggelinding turun.. tanganku gak kuat megangin.. Aku yang berdiri di depan trolley, maaf, tepatnya agak di bawah trolley, menatap trolley raksasa persis di depan hidungku dengan panik! Aku akan segera tergilas sukses luluh lantak.. My handphone was low battery, I should say bye2 first to my loved ones.. There was no other choice, I used my back to hold the trolley from going down with my both hands holding the left and the right handrails of the elevator tightly, super tightly. My face expression? Of course, I looked like HULK; green face, open-mouth, gigi atas bawah keliatan berjejer rapi sempurna, alis mengkerut menahan berat, mata melotot, hidung membesar kembang-kempis, except one thing: HULK never says 'Omo Omo Omo'. I managed to hold the trolley safely. Phew! Super power only comes in emergency cases. Thanks God!

After I landed safely, Omo omo omo.. another elevator! This time, my giant trolley couldn't go down to the track. My effort trying to imitate HULK was useless! I brought 2 boxes and 1 bag. I couldn't carry 3 things with my 2 hands. I opened my mini trolley to put the 2 boxes, tapi tu tali trolley bundet ruwet kemana-mana di seluruh penjuru trolley. Train udah mau dateng, aku masih sibuk kutak-kutik tali mini-trolleyku. Kenapa sih aku slalu sial? Atau clumsy? At that point of time, what I was thinking was "How is the ending of this story? Will she be able to catch the train?" Yes, finally she was able to catch the train. I screamed from upstair, asked the train driver to wait for me. Not sure if he heard me, at least I tried. After I went down with the boxes all over the floor, one person helped me.. he was nice, dia lempar2 aja semua tas dan kardus2ku ke dalam train, pas banget pintu kereta nutup. God's time is always on time. If I missed that train, I would have to wait another 30 minutes and I would lose my 3,000Yen train ticket!

When I was queueing at the immigration, there was very long queue. One person who's queueing right in front of me left the queue because he forgot to fill in the form. I wanted to tell him, once he took the form, he could just queue in front of me again. But, my turn came, he took so long to fill in the form on a table. I didnt't have chance to let him in. I was thinking, if I let him in, I would miss the train. Was it all His plan??

This morning I woke up early because Ron had to go to work early in the morning. After he left, I cleaned up my house, washed clothes, had breakfast, and ended up typing in front of computer. Hi Hi Hi! Still got lots of things to buy, settle, and do today. I need to collect my Alien card today. Yea, today I officially become an alien.. because I'm having a card, a card that I have to bring everywhere I go, a card that I need to show to everyone whenever they want to see (I mean, to open bank account, register here and there).

See you again, diary..

Two Down, No More!

Friday, 24 Aug 07, 3.44pm in Solo

Phew! Finally my COE is out, my dear diary! I'm so so so happy to hear that. Ron called me when I was in Solo Grand Mall, shopping with my parents-in-law. I'm so fortunate to have a great mum-in-law. You know what? She's going to accompany me to go to Jakarta to settle my visa application in the Japan Embassy. My father-in-law arranges my plane ticket, transportation, and accomodation. Thanks, Mom & Dad..

This morning I was still so nervous when there was still no news about the COE. It's been more than 1 month, I thought they would fail my application. When I was worried to the max, my hubby told me 'there must be something good behind this'. Yes, I also believe something good is happening. I'm sure God has wonderful plan for us. I summarised few possible good points this morning as a result of this delay:
1. God wants me to have a safe and sound journey so He wants me to book another air ticket. My return air ticket has a fixed date, delay on the visa application means my China Airlines air ticket will be gone.
2. God wants me to spend my time more in Solo with my family so I won't waste time staying in Jakarta too long. This is the reason He keeps the date of the COE issuence just ON TIME.
3. God wants my hubby to pass his 2nd test (Japan Law) on 5 Sept. By delaying my flight till after 5 Sept will make him pass the exam (I won't have chance to disturb him)
4. God has another plan for us. Maybe Japan is not for us, He prepares better opportunity out there.
5. God wants us to live separately for few months/years to strengthen our love and our 'bahtera perkawinan'??

After I heard the news today. Now I know that He always works ON TIME. His plan is point no 2. I'll fly to Jakarta this Sunday morning with my mum-in-law. I'll receive the doc (COE) on this Monday. The Japan Embassy will take about 4-5 days to process. It should be ready by the latest next Friday afternoon and my flight to Japan is on next Sunday morning (fixed date). Just nice, isnt it?

I believe, everything happens for a wonderful reason. When we see something bad happen, we tend to think negative. Do not! Be patient, wait a while more and you'll see something wonderful in front of you. *Yea yea, you're happy now, that's why you can say that. Few days ago you were drown by your own tears* Hush!

My dear hubby, I'm coming soon... Do wait for me!

-2/2Happy Abbie- :D

About Me and My Dream

Thursday, 23 Aug 07, 11.08am in Solo

Hello my little diary,
I just had breakfast special morning menu 'Sou-Tow with Poo-Yo & Ba-Rou' at Kie-Rha-Na with my parents and my bro. *Korean food? Chinese Food?* Ok ok, I admit. I ate Nasi Soto with Telur Puyuh and Paru Goreng at Warung Soto Kirana, happy? I love Indonesian food so much although the names are not as keren as Chinese or Korean food. *Who cares about the name?* I do! I'm scared of eating meals called "Mbah Gobyos", "Mbah Jingkrak" and "Sambel Nenek Lampir"! *What are the meanings in English?* In English, ermm.. "Sweating Grandma", "Dancing Grandma", and "Attached Grandma Sambal" (Lampir = Attached?) These kind of meals' name are real.

Updates for today, I still have no news about my COE. Oh man, I'm getting nervous now. I'm sure that God always works on time!

I dunno why I feel like a different person when I'm In Solo. I feel that "this is reality". It's a different feeling when I'm away from home, it's like "this is a dream". I remember what my cousin told me that 'Life is like a dream'. It's so true! Treat a life as your dream and you'll feel burdenless. When I sleep, I dream a lot. Too many dreams make me confused. Sometimes I have a serial dream too, like watching serial movies. It's very funny that I feel I'm going to continue the 3rd episode of my dream when I'm about to sleep. And, I also know that it's just a dream when I'm dreaming! Amazing rite? Sometimes even I don't remember which one a reality is, which one a dream is. When something happens in a real life, I feel that it already happened in the past or in my dream. What I'm sure is I knew it would happen that way, I knew it. Is that called a dejavu? What is dejavu?

When my sis was around 3-month-old pregnant, I had a dream about her baby. It was so true that my sis gave birth to a baby girl, it was also so true that her baby was exactly the same as the baby girl I saw in my dream! In other cases, I dreamt about my colleague was pregnant, my friend broke up, my friend found a job, my friend got married. These happened a while after I dreamt!

Last nite I had a dream again. It was about my elder sis and her husband. You know, sometimes a dream doesn't make sense so just get the point, okay? In my dream, my sis and her hubby got married to each other again for the 2nd time. We had a big party again. When I asked my sis 'Why should you get married to each other again?', she replied 'This is just our culture everytime we want to have a baby'. Does it mean that she's going to have the 2nd baby soon?? Let's see..

Little diary, can you feel the different me from my writing style when I'm in Solo? Only my little diary knows. I have few posts that I wrote when I'm in Solo and just keep them as drafts, never been published.. Does environment change the way we live, the way we think, the way we feel, and the way we do? Which is the real me?

p.s there are 2 topics in this post (3 topics including the Mbah Gobyos and friends), not sure what title is good for this post. 'A Dream'? or 'A Me'? 'What is Dream?' or 'Who am I?' hmmm...

Taiwan Jet Explodes in Japan

Wednesday, 22 Aug 07, 11.43am in Solo

My little diary,
I just read a newspaper about an accident of a Taiwan-based China Airlines from Taiwan to Japan. Here is the news: "Passengers flee China Airlines 737-800 as it burns after an explosion in Naha on Japan's southern island of Okinawa August 20, 2007. The left engine of the Boeing 737-800 jet belonging to Taiwan-based China Airlines exploded shortly after arrival in Naha city from Taipei, ripping the plane apart, officials and witnesses said, but all 165 passengers and crew escaped safely. China Airlines has a troubled safety record with four deadly accidents in the past 13 years, including a crash in the Japanese city of Nagoya in 1994 in which 264 people were killed".

Omo omo omo.. I was so shocked when I read this news because my flight to Japan (transit at Taipei) is by China Airlines! Why it must be from Taipei to Japan and not to other countries? I only can believe that everything happens is on God's hand. If my going back to Japan will be delayed because of my COE, it also must be His wonderful plan, rite? Please help me praying for my safe journey to Japan..

Living in Indo Vs Living Abroad

Tuesday, 21 Aug 07, 9.15pm in Solo

Hi diary,
I'm very tired and sleepy now. Not sure why I always feel tired and sleepy in Solo. I always drive a car here or (even better) somebody drives for me. Everyone around me is always ready to help me. The point is, I live like a "princess" in Indonesia:
- My hands never carry heavy items
- My feet never walk too long
- My skin never get sun-burnt
- My nails never get cracks
- My sweat is never....I mean, is still smelly
But, why do I always feel tired in Solo?

I've been staying abroad for more than 8 years. Now I get used to do anything by myself. Well, everyone always needs others' help. What I mean is, do we really need to live like a king in this life? Sometimes I can understand what my maids are feeling. It's not that I'm also a maid but because we have same jobscope *what's the difference?*

This afternoon my mum scolded one of my maids because my maid ironed clothes not up to my mum's expectation. After I realised what the problem is, I understand fully how difficult it is to iron man's trousers with the line at its original place (horizontal line at the front part of trousers). I'm not sure if you understand what I mean. Anyway, when I ironed my hubby's trousers, I didn't even realise that there was a line there and had no idea how man really concerned about that line. Usually, I just iron it up to my mood. A bit to the left.. a bit to the right.. ironing the bottom part.. ironing the top part.. ironing the parts which have wrinkles only.. not ironing at all..sometimes. Wonderfully, my hubby never complain, or he never realised? My mum is buying a vitamin, Cerebrovit, for my maid so that she can remember what my mum taught her how to iron trousers. Should I buy one pack too?

[Eh..eh..topiknya udah nyeleweng jauh tuh!] In conclusion, although living abroad is not as convenient as living in Indonesia.. I still love it (except for ironing clothes)!
- I have freedom and privacy (maid is like omnipresent at my home in Solo, so scary!)
- I have personal satisfaction that I can do this and that
- It keeps my body slim and my skin tanned
- It gives me excuse to go for manicure & pedicure
Today I took unused boxes from Hero supermarket to pack my stuff that I'm gonna bring to Japan. U know what? I feel happy that I can get the boxes myself, I don't need anyone to help me sourcing boxes. *Stupido..pido..where are you? [dinyanyikan dengan nada Scooby Doo's song]*

Ok ok ok, no more talking around the bush. I admit that I'm still under stress now. Sorry to keep you reading so long before coming to the main point. My COE still has not issued yet. My hubby's test result is also not out yet. So, is tomorrow the big day? I hope so.. I need 2 good news tomorrow. One is good, Two is perfect! Please God, please God..
